Introducing Milton Ivy Tutors: 1580 SAT, 36 ACT, 526 MCAT

1580 SAT (99th percentile). 36 ACT (99th percentile). 526 MCAT (100th percentile). What do they have in common? They're all part of our team.

If you or your child is taking the SAT, ACT, or MCAT, this is worth reading.

1580 SAT (99th percentile) · 36 ACT (99th percentile) · 526 MCAT (100th percentile)

What do all of these scorers have in common? They're all part of Milton Ivy Tutors — the initiative I've founded with students from Harvard University and other colleges to bring elite results to students in the town of Milton.

This year, our team of tutors and I have had students score 1580, 1540, 1520, and 1500 on the SAT. On average, students improve by 210 points. On the MCAT, we've had students go from 490 to 512.

So what's the secret?

The answer is simple: volume. Sami, our newest tutor who recently scored 1580, completed every advanced question available online. Youssef, who entered the 100th percentile on the MCAT, completed endless practice problems and question banks.

But our SAT, ACT, and MCAT students reach the same result in a fraction of the time using study techniques, structured preparation, and working smarter — not harder.

Meet the Team

Tommy Murphy — Perfect 36 ACT
Sophomore at Middlebury College studying Statistics. Earned a 36 on the ACT by focusing on consistent practice, spotting patterns in each section, and using simple, repeatable strategies under time pressure.

Nick — 1540 SAT (99th percentile)
Undergraduate student studying Business. Scored 1540 (99th percentile) including a near-perfect 790 in Math, by focusing on pattern recognition, timed repetition, and strategies that work across all question types.

Youssef Tewala — 526 MCAT (100th percentile)
Senior at Harvard College pursuing a combined bachelor's and master's degree in Chemistry and Chemical Biology. Tutors all sections of the MCAT.

Since I've started, I've had one underlying motivation: prepare as many people from Milton to succeed as possible.
